Reporting System of Energy Intensive Business

Purpose

KEA collects and analyzes data on energy consumption, energy conservation results, energy saving facilities of energy intensive companies (energy consumption over 2,000toe per annum). The data and its analysis are used to develop policies for energy use rationalization.

Definition
  • Pursuant to the order of MOITE, energy intensive companies have to report items described below to the local government that have jurisdiction over the region where the energy consuming facilities are located no later than January 31 of the corresponding year.
    • - Quarterly energy consumption and output of their products in the previous year

    • - Quarterly expected energy consumption and output of their products in the corresponding year

    • - Inventory of energy consuming machineries and equipment

    • - Quarterly performance of energy use rationalization in the previous year and quarterly plan of energy use rationalization in the corresponding year

    • - List of persons in charge of the above tasks (energy managers)
