Basic Plan for development, utilization and deployment of technology

Purpose
  • The basic plan was established pursuant to the article 5 of the Act on the Promotion of the Deployment, Use and Diffusion of New and Renewable Energy
    Planning cycle: 5 years
    Duration of the plan: over 10 years
    Major topics of the plan: Goals of the technology development and deployment, promotion of new and renewable energy generation and policy implementation methods etc.
  • The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Energy may make amendment to the plan if necessary
    After consultation with a head of relevant central administrative agencies and a review of New and Renewable energy policy committee prescribed in the article 8 of the Act on the Promotion of the Deployment, Use and Diffusion of New and Renewable Energy , the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Energy may make amendments

  • The article 5 of the Act on the Promotion of the Deployment, Use and Diffusion of New and Renewable Energy (Establishment of basic plan)
  • Build plans for more than 10 years of period to bring about systematic development of the new and renewable energy industry: set goals for developing and deploying new and renewable energy technologies by energy source; develop implementation methods; estimate expected impact
